The location is unbeatable, right at Puerta del Sol. My single room was small but very clean and had a comfy bed. The staff were super friendly and helpful too. Hot drinks vending machine in the lobby was a nice bonus ☕

quite comfortable overall experience. great place. the lovely and wonderful staff all round. a good choice of goodies for breakfast. marvellous and incredible location, around 10-15 minutes walk from a vast pedestrianized public square. found in a quiet area just next door to the main points of the city and the metro station sol and the square.

Comfortable bed, towels provided, and a TV, which makes for a decent short stay. Location right in the heart of the city ensures easy access to sights.
Rooms are quite small and the walls offer no soundproofing. Can loudly hear conversations, TV, or even water running from adjacent rooms. Shower hook broken, hot water lasts about two minutes, and no flat surface for personal items in the minuscule room. Stairs leading to the hotel show signs of neglect.

The hostal was an experience, to say the least. Walls were paper thin, so I heard every little cough and sneeze from the other rooms. And let's not forget the ancient keys that hardly worked, so disappointing. I expected some kind of upgrade for all that trouble but was just treated like everyone else. Almost gave a good review, just couldn't.
